Good to know mountainhanger! I couldn't find anything that suggested water sources which is a concern of mine. I'm getting there earlier by a few hours before EvillOtter and plan on checking out some trails, trailheads, and the like - getting a feel for the lay of the land. We're looking at either grubb or sycamore. If there is water at sycamore, then sycamore since there's plenty to see and no horse erosion. Like we do at the Hoosier Hang, the plan is to keep the miles simple.

Anyone interested in joining feel free to give PM either one of us. The more the merrier.

OK, I am really feeling I made the wrong decision. I am tipping toward going tomorrow.
Let me know where you are and I may meet you there.
My thoughts on the Deam are somewhat mixed. I don't feel like I am having a wilderness experience in the Deam. Too many people and too many rules, but they are not so bad. But the campsites are overused and right on the trail. There is one place in the Deam I used to go we named Crescent Valley that is really nice because no one ever goes there, there is water and it's quote beautiful. I will send you guys a map if you want to consider it. Also, the parking lot for the Deam is farther and takes longer to get to from 65, but again no big problem.
But you guys go wherever you want and I will see you there sometime tomorrow if I can. Just let me know where and when. I will PM you my cell.
    See you soon I hope.

The plan is meeting at sycamore at around 4, I'll be there earlier and Mule might get there earlier.

SHOTGUNRED, Sure wish you were coming, buddy. The plan is to leave the parking lot at the tower at 4PM if anyone wants to join us. We are going to a secret valley, Crescent Valley.

Yes, but I don't know how to get it onto youtube, it is what it is.
