    Clark Spreader Bar Storage Solution

A couple of month ago I was in contact with Clark about a storage solution for the poles and they replied that a solution would be soon available.
When I ordered the zliner last week I asked for that solution and here it is.
It holds the poles securely and can be velcroed to the integrated stuff sack.

Hrm, I'm not sure it was worth waiting for. Great if they include it with all new hammocks, but for everyone else, any kind of tent stake bag will serve just as well.

They should sew that right into the back of the built in pocket, so it is just attached to the sack all the time.

They also need to attach another velcro piece across the middle to keep them from slipping out.

Simple, elegant solution. Is it perfect? Not in my opinion, but it's something.

I still think they need to make the pole sections half the length the currently are, and they need to be shock-corded so individual sections don't get lost.

For now, I'll stick with my DIY solution to the poles. I made my pole sections half the length and "encased" them inside some hollow core, tightly woven (outer sheath) cord/rope. It makes packing easier and there's no chance of individual pole sections being misplaced or lost.

That is what I used untill now. My very first try on the thread injector.
I actually like it because it holds my 6 stakes as well.
For now I will use the Clark solution if I pack it in the original attached stuff sack. For Backpacking I'll stay with my solution, Hammock in a waterproof silnylon stuffsack ( packs mutch smaller than in the attached one, esp. without tarp), tarp in another small one and poles and stakes in my sack inside my backbapck.
