Also... were hiking the Garden of the Gods loop, then heading down to Indian Point loop and camp there. Saturday we will hike down the River to River trail for a few miles, then head back on Sunday.
Seeing as this is two months away and the closest HF hang to STL on forum at the moment I would like to make this one. Never been to Shawnee or a HF hang so the whole experience would be new. Going to see if a buddy or two would be interested, will keep updated!

Planning on playing it by ear.. since the daylight hours will be so short then it might behoove us to do short distance or maybe just hangout.. I'm up for suggestions
