    Does it ever get better?

Or is my checking account doomed?

I keep coming across stuff I want to try out when I get this hammock! Dutchware is like the crack of hanging or something, just looking at it makes me think of different ways could use stuff. Watching Shug's videos dont help either. I'm still pretty much clueless to all the different rig setups, but seeing some of the ways to do things in the videos make all sorts of ideas rum through my head!

    Never gets better

If you are a gear junkie like me, you will get obsessed with all the different setups not only for your hammock suspension but then for your cooksets, sleep system, and shelter, in the end, well there is no end to it. Just lots of buying, trying, selling trading, and yes a checking account that aches. But hey, its fun right?

Since starting with all of this my checking account has lived in a near perpetual state of drained.

My name is SilvrSurfr, and I am a hammock-aholic. I've gone 4 months without a gear purchase.

Thank goodness my G'friend got a flat tire tonight. I'd made 3 or 4 purchases tonight up until that call! She might have saved me some money!

I was talking to my wife about how affordable it actually is. If i were crafty and.she had her thread injector at our house I would probably already be shopping for UQ materials. But so far, things i have ordered, or am looking to order from vendors off this site are very reasonably priced. There's just so much cool stuff it could add up pretty fast ;-)
