I would love it if the new titanium cinch buckle had a hook on it. Kinda like the elephant trunk by bloomgore.

This would let you store the straps separate from the hammock body.... without having to unthread the cinch buckle.

This would also allow the straps to unintentionally separate from the hammock body for all of us that want to pack them together....how annoying.

This would allow easy changing if I wanted Whoopies or Cinch Buckles than. Definitely will be watching for things to come especially if these drop some weight over the current ones.

    Any updates on this here?

Me too though I just ordered some Elephant Trunks to go with the wife and kids hammocks as I am converting them to loops and whoopies with hooks for sleeping inside and they can keep there adjustable straps outside.

Though I would have to order the new fangled things Dutch has up his sleeve to test out. LOL

I can tell you from experience.....

I absolutely LOVE my elephant hooks.
    BUT.....

night after night after night (for a long hike), it became very tedious for me to adjust those every night , when my neighboring buddy just threw her Cinch Buckles around and she was eating dinner 10 minutes before me!

    Re: Cinch Buckle sale

I'm pretty bummed that I missed out on this sale. since I started sewing I somehow got tasked with making making all my friends a hammock amd the cinch buckle is my favorite suspension type it is what they are gonna get. But even without the sale dutch will get the sale anyway.
