Ok, laying here I'm wondering if the ends of the hammock have channels, and if itd hurt anything to hang it like my eno?. Also, any suggestions on ridgeline length?

yes, the ends have channels. they are well constructed and (while i haven't tried it)
i believe they would hold up just fine in "eno" mode.
i like the knots for quilt hookin'
my srl is about 108ish.
Start out with 83% of your hammock length for your ridgeline and go from there. Go adjustable until you figure out what you like best. HYOH
now that is the best advice ive ever heard on this matter. seriously. youve come so far DIVA!!!
i was trying to come up with some math equation today to figure it out based on the blackbirds 100" RL and my ENO, but laying in the hammock its hard to math...lol all i knew was it was a good bit longer than the ENO.

REV, before you get all mathy and stuff, stretch that puppy out and measure it from whoopie to whoopie. That is the effective length of the hammock. Then do the math. Make your arl, and bury a bit of thread in the adjustable end at the 83% point so you have a benchmark. Makes it easy to keep track of where you've been and where you're going.
