as you probably know, there are a lot of variables from person to person, & even for the same person from time to time.

PS... if you want to be like neo you'll need to drink antifreeze
I too will something make and joy in it's making

well... i really couldn't afford to buy another piece of insulated gear right now, but thanks to the help & encouragement of a couple good friends, i am now the proud owner of a rocky mt snivler!!!
MAN, is that baby thick!!! can't wait for the next cold weather trip!

now that i have the RMS i can put off paying the gas bill... right???

i meant to get back to you sooner on that neo. i wasn't talkin about drinking booze... i gave that up a long time ago too(oct, 82).
let's hang tight on that one bro!
i was just saying that you must have the kind of antifreeze that keeps a car from freezing up in your veins... the way you sleep warm in those low temps

Tell the truth now, you know you had a relapse when you slept out on that 8 degree night last year!

Not as hard as it sounds. I have no anti-freeze in my system.
Multiple pads, multiple clothing layers.....no problem.....toasty.
Been down to 10 degrees and was warm. I will have better protection
for my feet next time I'm in those temps with ice/snow on the ground.
I only had trail runners and one pair of socks on while hiking and standing around. Frostbite was knocking on the door.

Turn off the lights and pretend you're not home; he is a lousy guest.

I have both a Nest and a No Sniveller. I don't have a lot of experience with the Nest yet, but I LOVE my NS! I've used it as an UQ, with a DTE pad, when ground sleeping , and I've worn it frigid mornings around camp.

It's one of my top 3 favorite pieces of gear! I rarely hit the trail without it
