Picked up a Consew 206rb-1 last Thursday and spent the weekend Making a new table and overhauling the set up. I made a new 6'x32" table from from an extra office workstation top....Changed knee foot raiser to a pedal...painted the steel base....and put it all on casters so the table top is at standing height (I have a bar stool that works when I want to sit). I also put on a new servo motor to slow it down when I need to.

I am picking up a singer 251-12 tomorrow and will get to work on making some gear!

That's a fine looking table you made there wildernessquest1. Is that a sew-quiet servo?

It's a Sew Green FL-550 Servo motor. It was one of two that my local dealer had and it had the best slow speed control of the two they had.

Waiting on a new bobbin winder and thread stand I ordered from eBay and it will be ready to go!

Todays haul from Craigslist. $450 for everything. Industrial Singer 251-12. Fast! All those boxes have material and over 300 rolls of assorted threads! So much stuff!

Went by my Dad's today and picked up a few new toys. From left to right...Singer Featherweight w/accessories, My Grandmothers 201-2 and cabinet w/accessories (needs rewired - cabinet not shown), a newer model 201-2 and a 15-91. Dad was a collector and these were a few of his common models.
