I got a Montbel Thermawrap jacket as an early Xmas present. And a promise from my wife to go hammock camping with me (last time it was really just camping...now she's trying out the hammocks). She even tried to test one last night, but it didn't work out...she's laid in the Warbonnet, Hennessy and a Speer-type now. She likes the HH best right now...so we'll sleep in that one next.

    My best present yet!

1300 Watt soldering gun to be used as a hot gun. I've been using it to cut beaks for my winter tarp, and its great not to be dealing with raveling fabric.

device for guilding bias tape/grosgrain on the edge of the fabric to be sewn, all in one go. Have yet to try this out.

    A remarkably apropos tee shirt.

As my birthday is coming up fast, and fabric was a main stay of my gift list, I have hopes of more hammocking goodies to come soon.

Lets see, 22 yds of 1.1 oz riptsop, 15 yds of silnylon, and 8 yds of 1.9 oz ripstop. I made my dad a zhammock HH clone as well as a sock and a hex tarp. I made my self a zhammock HH clone as well as a sock. Oh yea and I got some smart wool socks and a SMD Comet backpack too.
