Thanks for posting this. I am going to try making a canvas bag with a leather top and stip on front/back. I was going to try using beeswax and will now add in BLO.

Would be useful for packs , rifle cases and the like but you don't want to do it for pods or anoraks as it stops the breathability. and flexibility. I made a canvas case for my DIY bucksaw and it was good for that.
