I'm still up for this if i'm given a bit of notice - i know a really good spot in cumbria, but its not realy worth it @ this time of year, it would also involve renting a canoe.

yorkshire is a fair old trek. i was thinking if we managed to just organise a few people from the north in the north and a few people from the south in the south. neither group is prob going to want to travel and there seems to be a good few members from the dales on here with good hangouts, so why not have one in yorkshire and we can try and organize one somewhere down here.....

not by any means trying to cut anyone out, just saying it would double our chances of actually getting one organised! hahaha
