I'm trying to convince my wife that I could attend and come back out alive. I have 2 20* UQs one about 16" wider then the other. If I stack them do you think id live? This sounds like a great time, I've followed the last few FBHs and always liked what I saw.

Pencil me in as a firm maybe.

Welcome to the Forum Woodtick, this is not a beginners type hang though, severe and sometime dangerous conditions may occur.
We would like to know some of you background before you join in. Caution and safety first. Thanks TZ

Parking is a few miles East of Finland MN on Heffinger rd, at a snowmobile trail head

    https://maps.google.com/maps?rlz=1C1...8&hl=en&tab=wl search Finland MN

On GE you can see the parking on Heffinger rd

From there it is mostly snow mobile trail into the site, except the last few hundred yards

    Lat 47°24'16.82"N
    Lon 91°16'54.03"W

somewhere close to to those numbers I believe on Google Earth

    Life's A Journey
It's not to arrive safely at the grave in a well preserved body,
But rather to skid in sideways, totally worn out, shouting,
    Woo Hoo!....What a Ride!

Awesome Shug! Thanks for the map as I too was interested in seeing one.

So this route does not follow the SHT correct? What is the terrain like (rolling hills, steep hiking, coniferous forest, old growth trees, etc)? Since the route follows a well travelled snowmobile trail the snow should be packed enough for mtbing!

It is fairly flat and follows a snowmobile trail then cuts off into the woods to the right.
Not sure about the MBT though. We pulked.
