Woot.com Hammocks... did your order come in?

A friend of mine that lives a few miles from me just called me asked if I got but the Yukon Outfitters I ordered from Woot.com (the double and the netted single). I got both of my hammocks (Double and netted) about 2 weeks ago but she said she only got the double two weeks ago and was wondering what happened to the netted one she paid for. So I suggested she call the Woot only to see they don't a published telephone number on their website. Some googling and I found a number for them.

I also ordered a refubrished ice cream maker from them it too came in with no issues.

However, in my googling I found reviews that were scarry... like after legitimate orders people's cards were billed for things they didn't order. (seems like maybe they got hacked because most of those type of reviews happened in 2012).

So anyone deal with issues with their Woot.com orders?

Did they handle your issue fairly?

Any Advice for my friend?

I got my hammock (the netted version) about a week and half after ordering via Woot. Just set it up today. At 6ft 2, its too small for me. Figure the netted version is better suited for someone 5ft 6 and under. At 280 lbs I am also 5 pounds over the weight limit but it held me just fine.

i got both mine in about 2 weeks ago as well. however, they had the same sale a couple days ago, and this time only the double was offered. perhaps there are supply issues with the netted?

Well she was disappointed they old shipped 1/2 the order so if you plan on selling your netted one PM and I'll speak with her.

She emailed them today because the phone number I found just was a recording saying their email!

I've never had any issue with WOOT.com, and I've bought an embarrassing number of things from them.

Woot.com was actually purchased by Amazon.com a while back. If you don't get satisfaction, you might take it to the next level there.

I've purchase from Woot 3 times and have rec'd my stuff within 3 business days every time. Something went amiss.

I have ordered stuff on line (various sites), paid for it only to be told a few days later, sorry we sold out. Each time I did get my $$ back without a problem

Sorry but I am keeping the hammock. Too small for me but it will make a great backup hammock for the wife who is 5ft 3.
