Geodesic Dome

Awesome idea. Now if you think a few hammock stands is going to attract some attention, a large geodesic dome is going to have everyone stopping by to visit. I take it you've seen the conduit dome calculator located here.

Pictures are definitely in order when this gets completed.

Awesome idea! I've wanted to build one of those as a greenhouse. I think they'd make perfect multi-hammock stands.

Another idea I've been toying with that you might try is a round trampoline stand, but when you build it, insert 6 or 8 foot chain link fence poles on the legs to raise the trampoline high. Get a great summer shade (add tarps for rain), trampoline, and multi-hammock stand underneath!

brilliant. I bet you get lots of help putting it together when you get there... I'm hoping the local scout council will let me hang in the trees when we go there...
