Does anybody have an opinion on the Golite Pinniacle compares to the Granite Gear Nimbus Ozone. Also I'm looking for a pack of a friend of mine she is new to backpacking I was thinking the Quest or the Pinniacle any suggestions on that also. This is a great chance to buy some new gear just don't know much about their packs.

Just picked up the Ultra short for Joker at $135...he should get 3-4 years in it before he outgrows it. He'll need something a bit warmer for CO than what I currently have for his size, and when it's really winter up there he can just throw the Nest over it. Should probably buy another JRB hood now though...

Just looked--they have a women's 20* Venture, but that's it. Still a pretty good deal, though. I'd use the coupon at GoLite--very good price. The 0* Venture was reg $400. I paid $210 for mine.

After searching the announcement on their website using the website search engine, the only thing it said was that the coupon was for the holiday season.
I'm thinking it's cheaper to purchase the ultra than make a 20 degree down bag.
