This is my favorite method. I have tried almost all the others and this has been the "cleanest" for me :http://www.backpackinglight.com/cgi-...hread_id=33573

I really like that method. so simple and easy to make. The video really shows how effective it is. Will definitely use this the next time it deal with down.

Ok the Down Eductor mentioned, diagramed, and shown in use is pure genius. I've now found my down stuffing method of choice. Thank you for that link.

Not that I'm entering the down fray quite yet but that is a really good idea.

I ended up making a down eductor and all I can say is: wow!

The $7 I spent at Lowes for the drain pipes to construct it probably ended up saving me several hours of messy work. Fantastic recommendation, thanks!

I set up my twp person dome tent in my living room and filled it in there then I just use the tube on the vacuum method to suck the strays up as I went. the down doesn't go anywhere.

I just watched the down eductor video and I'm completely floored. I can't wait to get home from work to get started on my next UQ, because this device has me INSPIRED! And it has a super cool name. Too bad I threw away all that under-sink plumbing stuff from our last remodel.
