As the menu develops might we consider something in line with a ' potluck' dinner in which 6 to 10 or more cook up their favorites for one evenings meal. It would spread the KP duty among others that might want to contribute but would be put off trying to cook for 100. Having a number of different taste to sample has my mouth watering just thinking about it.

I liked it when we all split up the ingredients to bring for each big meal. For example, I can bring rice for the gumbo.

Not being Jewish, I don't have the means to produce a kosher meal. This is one of the unfortunate realities of trying to feed 100 people, as much as you would like to, you can't feed them one at a time.

If for religious convictions you need to avoid the sausage please PM me and we can talk about a workaround.

Don't worry Cakes, Timberrr is not a fan of seafood, my gumbo was never off the table, just didn't know how much was needed. It looks like the usual amount.

Unless you want to cook the rice too, you don't need to fly it down. I can cook rice in the rice cooker before I leave the house, then I don't have to deal with cooking it in the field. It gets reheated when you pour some hot gumbo on top.

Ahh, I see...well I can stir and learn the recipe's finer points from the master chef then. I never knew I liked gumbo until I had yours, and it rocks!
