    TED Bugnet

I'm interested in these, but I'm learning slowly that my skills as a seamstress aren't quite up to snuff.

Can anybody give me a quote on one of these, and/or maybe a quote for making me a Fronkey-style bug net?

It doesn't have to be new...used is fine, if you've got one you're not using. I just discovered this weekend that my current bugnet is inadequate for my needs.

Tell us how your current net is inadequate, and what style is it? The HUG may not be your best bet considering the response.

This is correct, but I'm not opposed to a Fronkey style net, either.

I made a TED style this summer and during some really heave mosquito activity I was eaten alive. I had a very hard time getting it to seal properly. It was a nice and easy in and out but too many skeeters got in and couldn't find their way out. Mine is not exactly like Pips but I think close enough. I ended up changing it to a bottom entry a la fronkey but a zipper instead of drawstring.
    Good luck,

I'm a beginner hack at the thread injector, but the Fronkey net is a breeze to make. I've done 4 of them now for myself & grandchildren. Black noseeum with black thread...nobody will see the shortcomings. They are tight and do a great job on the mozzies.
You can also go with the WMT poly mesh curtains and make them in colors.
I've gone with the light tan that keeps the summer heat down. Grand daughter's is white to go with her pink & white hammock.

Gresh - I made a TED bug net and never used it. It's just like the one in Pip's video except that I made the top cover a little smaller. This was, I think, my second DIY project with a thread injector, so the stitching is not going to be top quality. I'll check the ridgeline length on it when I get home to make sure it fits your hammock. If it does, you can have it cheaply.

I have to tell you though, I prefer the Fronkey style bug net.

The boys at BIAS make their Buginator ala Fronkey style if you're looking for a new one.
