It's been since December that anyone last posted about TTTM hammocks, so i thought i'd chime in on how much i love my TTTM double! I just send it to have a footbox and shelf added to it, just like my Blackbird. Should be SWEET for cooler camping when i get it back!

What are you having the footbox made of? I really like the ENO double which is very similar in size to your TTTM. I have also been eyeing the TTTM King. Just to see if it is even more comfortable. Of course I do have a lot of 1.9 oz/yd nylon, so I should just make one to size...
And where are you sending your double for modification?
Yes! The TTTM material is great for warm temperature! Esp sun tanning on the beach!
I have the single and the king and the king is hugh for my petite asian frame (5ft 5") and 3 of us can lie perpendicular on the hammock!

Just for fun I ordered a TTTM King in all camo today. Decided it was going to be a while before I have time to play with DIY again.
Look up the post on the WB Traveller footbox mods to see pics of what my TTTM hammock will look like when it's done.

Yes, I have followed that thread with interest. I liked the footbox of the WBBB before I sold it, but wasn't enamored the shelf. Are you modifying with matching fabric or using something else?
We are trying to match the fabric, but if not it's ok by me...i just want a footbox and shelf...a "FreeBird".
