    Tubular Nylon End

In stead of whipping if I wanted a more finished look on the end would it be possible to sew a section of tubular nylon webbing in the ends and simply pass the support line thru it? Would it hold?

It's not clear to me from your description what you mean.

I will caution you that nylon webbing (even the tubular sort), by design, stretches.

I was on that page a couple of days ago. Maybe it's just in my cache. Try going to the homepage and clicking on articles.

Yes, it seemed to be a temporary problem.
