Tarp Ridge anchor points & tree damage.

I'm a new hammock hanger so forgive my ignorance, but I don't understand exactly how to make the tree savers! How about a video or pictorial!

wouldn't it work to just tie the tarp rl to the tree huggers, in almost the same way as hh's are but at the dutch clips or whatever you are using!
the tarp will be a bit lower but depending on how high you want it it wont be too bad

I suppose another option would be a 2' or 3' foot section of flexible plastic tubing (the kind you see in aquariums) as a sheath for the small line.
