"Every day above ground is a good day"
That was one of the tarps I was looking at as I was deciding on what tarp to get. I had narrowed it down to the JrB Trap, HH Hex, and the MacCat. I went with the MacCat due to its size and coverage. Now if the postal service will ever get my MO to the person I bought the tarp off of I will be all set.
A Bad Day On The Trail Is Better Than A Great Day At Work!!!

I was about to buy this tarp until i read about the guide gear camo tarp, awsome tarp
I am sure the guide gear tarp is a good tarp. I got the JRB tarp because of the weight savings. There is almost a pound difference.
As I said almost a pound difference. 11 ounces is 11 ounces. It may not be a big deal on short overnighters or weekends, but every little bit adds up. Ex specially if your doing a thru hike.
It may be bigger and cost less but that is because you have the added weight.
