    VIDEO: Quick snowshoe trip.

So I took a quick snowshoeing adventure out behind my dad's house. Had a blast!!! I wasn't able to do what I had planned but I enjoyed the trip tremendously. Hope you enjoy to.

    Enjoyed your video.

I was hoping to see your new white gas stove in action.

Me too! Just after around 8 inches of fresh powder. Cold, crisp, and beautiful

With nice warm weather here, it’s somehow cooling and refreshing to sit here and watch a snowy, hammy, hiking video. Yeah, I can see the joy in being the first to make tracks in the snow. Do you think more trees fall down in snowy piney woods, or in summery piney woods? I imagine that with all that snow on them, the weight of the snow would make more trees fall over. Thanks for the video, Nighthauk, it was well worth watching!

It all depends on the snow. If it is a sticky heavy snow then there is a slightly higher chance in the winter. But a strong gust in summer too can do it too. Either one is a very small chance.

Snowshoeing is a great activity in the winter. Sounds like your learning things already. If your not already familiar with wool clothing check it out. Merino base layers work quite well in this situation. Looks like you have a winter of fun ahead.
