No, it's not me, but I can still feign indignation! =)
I ride a recumbent.
I like to HAM it up on the CW.
I use Linux.
I play go.
Of course I sleep in a hammock!

I have never seen this before,,,,interesting. I like its simplicity . Just remember to have longer lines to compensate for losing bits now and then. I generally use the truckers hitch but will have to give this a try.

I like this knot, it's a beauty.

I like to fancy myself as very "knotedgeable", so to be shown something like this really makes my day. I should have everything in the house lashed up with the CJK by the end of the weekend. Kids and pets beware!

It appears the first knot mainly serves to stop the second overhand knot from running off the end of the line. If that is true, while the first overhand knot is very simple, any stopper knot would work, even a loop over a toggle. Any stopper knot might be a bit easier to remove, than the first overhand.
I find the most appealing part of this knot is its simplicity, along with its apparent high function.
Cool beans!
Good one Rug! Iawoodsman on YouTube did that video and he has a great bushcrafting/outdoors channel.
That vid is by Terry Barney... Or IA Woodsman... He has a ton of great stuff posted on BCUSA and youtube.
