Received the quilt yesterday. All I can say is WOW. Now I just have to figure out a good way of getting 9oz of down into it without getting it all over the place

Hey fishbait - glad you got it ok. If you got the down from WL and it came in baggies, just cut the corner off the bag and place it in each baffle - squeeze it into the baffle like toothpaste and shake it down.

If you have a big pile, just place in baggies, weigh it and cut the corner off and do the same as above. Need any help, just let me know.

I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

I'm going to be filling the baggies myself, it's gonna be fun. Love the material and the color, the quilt nearly matches my hammock

I ordered my torso length the other day. Can't wait to get it. I already stuffed my baggies. I do everything outside so any down that escapes can float away.

    Thanks Jtupinsmoke.

Another thing you can try is to use a garbage bag to load your baggies - then the down can't go far!

Due to steady orders at underquilts, I can't justify going to Mt. Rogers this year. So go ahead and order if you want, I'll be injecting thread all that weekend and then some!

Looks like I'll finally be caught up on the back orders by the beginning of the week. So look for updates in the Blog section of underquilts.

    Thank you,
    Dave

Just got my Shipping notification. Very excited to add the down and finish it up. Once TQ's hit I'll be buying one as well! Thanks LB!

No - thank you! I have a design, but still tinkering with it.
