It's really not difficult. I mean, I can do it... how hard can it be?

There are some things that I have learned it is just better to purchase. I used to try to do everything but some things I was just never happy enough with the end result or the financial advantage wasn't enough to offset the fiddle factor for me.

Well since he offered to do it for free I would hate to impose much more. What a great group of people this forum has, right!?

Fair enough... given the sewing machine incedent of '94 I won't take on any projects of that nature...

    Re: Vendor made UCR suspension?

I love UCRs... I'm not ultralight, but I like the less tangle less bulk side of them a lot... Also cost less because you only use about 10' or less of cordage, I like my amsteel...

How are they holding up for you? Any slippage? I'm about to make set out of 1/8 Amsteel. I had a pair of 7/64 with a Prusik knot. I'm thinking about ending it with a Klemheist knot. It seems to hold better. If fact, I was reading where you can splice a smaller cord into the end. So, I'm thinking some Zing It as it will bite down better. I never had mine slip, so this is just a safety precaution.

Sitting in it now... Brought it to work because I have to baby sit an oil pump all night... No issues yet... Haven't actually slept in because I'm at work, but have sat in it on and off for 8+ nights with no issues... Just remember to work the bury before sitting down... It will slip if you don't tighten the bury down first, but whoopies do that as well just less...
