Video: Vernal Equinox and Full Moon.

On March 20th I set out for a little overnighter. It was the vernal equinox and the last of a perigee full moon would adorn the night sky. I was to try my new Speer PolarPod for the first time and was quite exited by the thought.

    Ready to go.

    Camp set up.

Next morning there was some ice in the sea so it had been cold during the night.

All packed and ready to roll.

    Lunch on the way home.

    Home sweet home.

    And a video:

Thanks for sharing your overnight with us BlazeAway. It looked like a nice, quiet spot to spend the night.

Very nice...I have one of those chairs but haven't used it backpacking yet. I've been debating if I should bring it on our upcoming eight dayer. I think you just convinced me. Thanks.

Enjoyed that a lot BlazeAway. Beautiful pict of the ocean excellent shots around camp.
In another post you said you had an idea for a trip with the bike.
Looks like you turned that idea into reality. Nicely done.

On my bike I can travel 3 times as far, 3 times as fast, and carry more gear with less effort.
Hammock camping and mtn bikes were just made for one another.

mtn bikes= the summer time pulk
