Another Texas Fall Group Hang is planned!

The Better Half and I cant make this one either, classes that weekend. Ya'll have fun and plenty of pictures

This will be a good weekend, we will get to set up for rain, some cold temps,
try out some different pad set ups,
experiment with a few alcohol
stoves,,,mess with the Swiss stove,,
relax by a big propane heater and oh,,, Biscuts and gravey on a plate............and

catch some fish..... !!!!!!!

It's looking less and less like this one will work for me so I am expecting lots of pictures!

I think my next time out to the woods will be either between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Heck maybe even New Year's we'll see.

Distance is not the issue - it's time. One of the kids who used to be in my youth group is getting married on Saturday so I need to be back for that and after the busy week I am in the middle of, it's just simpler not to leave home.

I too am interested in checking out SFA SP and plan to do so soon. That may be the next place I go.

I also want to backpack in the Lost Maples SNA - It's a drive but a nice area.

I'll post my plans when I make some.

Also, the purpose of our last hang and my next few are recons for a Texas Group Hang later this winter - maybe February or March.
