Ontario Hang - Pick A Date

Greetings Guys and Gals

I am going to be making the reservation for our group hang the first part of the week of April 12th.

It's time to decide on a date. Pick the option(s) that work best for you. Obviously the date chosen will be a combination of site availability and consensus of the group.

The first week-end would be my only option for now until the Summer holiday schedule is done at my place of work.
I wont know until early june if i could go on another hang date.

I'm hoping that this year,all the guys will want to go hunting in October so i could get lucky and disappear for a week in August which is a Tour De Force to accomplish here in construction.

And that would be awesome to have a winter hang here in Northern Quebec!

Being out there,with snowshoes,hiking in -35 Celsius, a 12-15 miles stretch of trail.

Yeah that would be something. It might make those that attend the Mt Rogers winter hang in January jealous of the winter conditions we Canadians do get.

Greetings Everyone

I certainly hope that more than 7 people are going to vote on this poll to pick a date. I realize that we are 4 months out, but sites are first come first served via the Ontario Parks reservation system. Also for the back country sites we are considering (the cheap and quiet ones) only allow 6 people per site.

With this much advance notice, it should be easy for people to arrange their summer schedules.

Just a friendly reminder that this poll closes on Monday and I will be making a reservation for 1 of the 2 or more sites (max 6 per site) that we will likely need with all of the last minute people that will want to participate in this hike.

As it stands now there is only 4 people committed for the same weekend. This may be a really small hang.

Thanks for stepping up there Sk8rs_dad. I will be calling the reservation center on Tuesday and will see which weekends the 2 premium back country sites are available for any of the weekend dates in the poll.

Once I have that figured out, I will shoot you a PM with the details for the other site that needs to be booked.
