What I did to the straps was take out the stock foam padding and then replace it with Impact Gel. The reason why I didn't post to much about it is because it's really hard to get in it's raw form. My girlfriend's uncle is the guy who invented the stuff and I got a butt load of it from him. Basically what this stuff does is absorb impacts and shocks and makes hiking fast VERY comfortable on my shoulders.
Happy to help.

10 out of 9 stars. Primo grade AAA vid Fronkey.
I go the opposite route with the shorts...no liner at all.
OK, a theory. I've never had a blister with any boot and with soaking wet feet AND
my feet --esp. the heels-- dry out and crack. I use some kinda of moo stuff on them
to prevent the cracking. So I'm thinking us dry footed types dont get blisters.
Any word on the upcoming expedition, you and that dark character Wolf?
Mirror Mirror on the wall ..
Who's has the lightest pack of all ??
Fronkey made this clearer ...
It's all how you polish the Mirror !!

Great video dude! Good gear breakdown for you and the pups.
Cheers!
Nice work Fronkey. I love your setup (I might be a bit biased...). The Golite Jam2 was my first ever pack and it really is a great one! I thought the same thing when you were throwing all of your gear out in the leaves....if it were me, I would have had to get new gear because I lose things almost instantly...lol. Anyway, thanks for the shout out, buddy!

Mine is quite similar, but still have some work to do to get to your skin out weight.
Gonna have to spend some time with the gear list as compared to yours
If that was the gear storage closet in the opening, I bet it took a while to clean it out
Haha Thanks MM! I personally have had blisters when my feet weren't callused. I just trained a lot before this trip to make sure I didn't get any. The cracking is terrible IMO and I do what I can to prevent it.
As for the upcoming expedition. We aren't really going to announce it here on HF, but to give you an idea on what it's about... I'm pretty sure it is the most extreme trip ever done with a hammock. We are go for snow!!!
Haha I had to read this to my girlfriend. haha
Thanks Cal, I appreciate it.
Thanks SC! I actually had a blanket to the side where I was throwing everything and only lost my teeny knife for a bit. Thanks for helping me with my set up for this trip. I am a fan of Hammock Gear.
Thanks TZ. This is the gear that worked for me and I would be surprised if others had the same one. For example, I could easily shave 10 oz if I switched my hammy.
That was the coat closet I cleared out. No one touches the gear closet. Hoping to see you again this winter and thanks for watching.
