    TQ waiting agony

Omg what a **** tease... I've been waiting for my 20* top quilt for almost a month while it's transited the vastness of the Atlantic puddle... and today, after having sent customs waiver forms last week, it was set to arrive. And the postman comes, has the package, but they've screwed the paper work up so he has to take it back to get a stamp on it saying I don't need to pay any customs fees (work privileges)..... the package was right there, within my reach... and now I have to wait a couple of days more.. with a weekend in between.. can I take it? Not sure..

    I feel your pain...

Just waited for some parts for my pulk. And could follow the shipments movement online from a town in the south of Norway. Slowly winding it's way from the south. Then it suddenly appeared in a town 300 km north of me. I wondered why as it almost had to pass trough my home town to get there.

But I settled for the happy thought "it will" be here tomorrow...but nope. They sent it to another town 300 km south of me, again passing straight trough my area!

Then finally, 2 days later I got it.

Also funny. If I order something from over seas. Let's say the UK. It will be in Norway within 3 days. Then it takes a good week for it to arrive where I am...

Seriously folks; I used to go crazy waiting for gear. Over time, the wait, like hiking, became part of the journey. Now,I feel kind of empty if I'm not waiting on something.

You have a point, sir. A good one. Go with the rythm, things'll come as they come, that's the way of the woods. And that's the way of the hammocks in the woods.

I am patient now. (until Monday at least..)
