Thanks for the write up and blog spot, Skygzr. I had an awesome time and it was great meeting everyone.
My camera is dead to me now as all the pictures, I took, turned out horrible. I'm glad someones camera was performing flawlessly.
I hope that blackbird is working out for you and Otter.
Take Care,

Thanks for posting the pics and blog of the trip...I'm really glad everyone had a good time. You have no idea how worried I was that either no one would come, or that everyone would get out there and hate it. LOL!
It was awesome meeting a lot of you folks too...a few I'd met before and it was great to see them again, and then meeting y'all just made the whole thing a fun time.
Looking forward to some more hangs here in the general area. Once we're a little more assured of the warmer temps hanging around, my wife will be out camping with me as well (can't wait to get her a hammock...I think she'll LOVE it!).
What's cool is that I learn something new every time I go out. Modified my suspension to the "Jbizzle 'biner technique"...makes me a good bit more secure in sleeping without fear of falling.
Weasel and I both picked up some trekking poles as well...gonna be using those more often as we're hoping to find some good trails out there to hike and camp on.
Thanks guys for making this such a fun hang. Anytime someone's up for another run...give me a shout!
Thanks for the photos and description of the hang.
However, I did not put the Osage Orange on the fire.
However, I wish I had a video camera running when that fire storm started.

ok I will retract, but I thought you were sneaky like that and looking for a laugh!
thanks man
I think it will work fine for her- thanks
I tried it and it seems it is set up with the foot box in the opposite direction- I lay diagonally the other way- I have always been out of the ordinary.
it was a great hang- make sure and do it again next year
