Clark NX250 vs TX250

Hopefully this hasn't been posted already. A little about me:
5' 10" 160 lb (going with the 250 vs 150 for space)
I sometimes hang in snow but mostly in the summer, spring and autumn
I'm a COLD sleeper
I've been hanging in a Hennesy Hyperlight A-Sym and it's too cold for me (I haven't bought an underquilt, but I'm looking for something new)
I haven't seen a great review of the Clark insulation so I would prolly go with an underquilt unless someone has a good review of the insulation in conjunction with an overquilt.

Which one would you pick and your justification. I apologize for the ambiguity of the question, but I'm fishing for some answers.

I went from an NX to my current TX. I liked (and still do) the full length UQ offered by Clark for the TX. And I liked the full length velcro attachment for the UQ. It takes care of the problems with fit often discussed.
As a comparison of the TX and the NX - with good bottom insulation either one can be made warm. In warm weather the NX will probably be hotter due to the pockets directly under the sleeper. The pockets on the TX are more to the hammock ends.
If most of your hanging will be in mild weather I would get the TX.

Clark makes what they call a z-liner which is a climashield UQ that velcro's to the sides of the hammock. I have one but have not set it up, if we get some decent weather I will set it up and post a pic.

No. They make a full length, Velcro in place under quilt... Z liner.

The truth is that you will be happy with either one of them, provided you use a full length under quilt with it. In really cold temps the z liner won't cut it. My NX 250 suits me really well.

To Clarify...Clark makes Z-liners for both the NX and the TX. For the NX it consists of 6 pieces to fit in the pockets and another piece to cover the foot area. For the TX the Zliner is one piece that spans from tip to tip and attaches along the entire length with velcro.
And, as barchetta says, the weather shield is great - and is available on either model.

I have the NX250. I, too, am a cold sleeper. I tried the Z-liner and found for me it did not cut the mustard after temps dropped below 30. The solution I came up with was a Jacks Greylock 4. It works great, have had it down to 10 above. As the Greylock is a torso length quilt I have found that going below 20 the foot piece of the Z-liner does a nice job of insulating the foot end.

Ditto on the weather shield but remember to leave it partially unzipped to allow breath and moisture to escape in colder temps. I woke up one morning with the interior and my down bag SOAKED when I left it fully zipped and temps got in the teens!

The TX has weathershield too.
I bought the TX because you have to add something to both when its cold. But the TX has the panel at your head that unzips for more airflow when its hot that the NX doesn't.
