    The Crisp Enigma…

When the “Coffee Crisp” subject came up, I remembered that I had a bar with me but couldn’t recall eating it? In fact, I had brewed a coffee to go with my Coffee Crisp but didn’t have that ether? In addition, my Heiney Pot went missing during the trip

Being a photographer with a touch of OCD, I often lose track when a photo opportunity presents itself. On many occasions, I stopped mid “meal-prep”, grabbed my camera and darted off like Barry Allen (The Flash) on Red Bull, I’m always after “the shot”. At first, I thought it was coincidence that the Loons were “posing” off-shore whenever a meal was in progress but after taking a closer look at the trip shots, I found proof that we were the victims of fowl play! The Loon was the distraction and lookout, while the Beaver infiltrated camp, seized the goods and escaped undetected (until now)!

Words of Warning: Firstly, do not underestimate the Algonquin Wildlife! They are motivated and organized. Second and more important…keep your Heiney Safe, keep it covered unless you’re trying to attract beaver!

No Mate, that really happened! I have photographic proof? Photos don't lie, Otter's with Photoshop experience might, but not photos!

If that didn’t happen, with cap in hand, I’d have to say… Sorry Shug, I forgot the revered and most sacred Coffee Crisp on this campaign but it won’t happen twice.

Man, it was a boring day in the office, putting my cap on now

Ditto on joining us for a hang. I thought it would've been really coll to have some of our bretheren from south of the border up to one of our hangs. I'm already thinking that a late September/early October paddle up to Algonquin or hike in Killarney for the prime fall colours would be in order!!! Coming soon : "Eastern Great Lakes Hang - Fall 2011." All welcome!!

And after dem pork brains, I thought Shug, and maybe even Kent, would like a dose of some genuine Beaver Tails!!!

P.S. [o]TTer, I think it was the elusive woodpecker, master of stealth, that nicked your heiniee.

After bug season, sounds like the beginning of a plan to me Mate! Nothing like pouring a little Lemmon juice on that nick eh! Getting back in the park is the only cure for this wounded ego....let's go!

    Hey gang,

I really enjoyed the videos and photos, looks like all had fun. I guess the beaver likes to go ultra light as well.

Thanks for sharing the trip, it must be fun having a group hang.
