Looks like the only way to get insurance is with International Priority, and the postage is approx $38 estimated for two pounds. Or $47 for a medium priority flat rate box. Add $3 or $4 for Ins for either.
As for Int first class the only protection is certificate of mailing, and a clerk once told me all that does is show its been shipped,...does not mean it is safe in transit.

Thats a great quilt,,the wife took hers down to about 35 degrees in a blowing wind with her 30 degree Jarbridge UQ attached to hammock and was toast. Great buy for those that got one.
