As an update on mine - contacted HammockGear today letting them know about an even earlier trip (May 30-31) and they said they'd be able to deliver it in time for that. Very excited!

Not trying to slow down anyone else's gear!

I didn't ask for mine until the end of the month, so it's nearly a four week requested turn-around. Probably already within their standard timeframe - I just wanted to make sure.

I have to agree with rotorwash . I patiently await my top quilt having ordered sooner and not received yet no doubt as someone "needs" their quilt sooner has pushed my completion time further back. they should fill the orders as they come in. cutting is just rude. markglist you should feel bad.

As a follow-up to my earlier post (#9), on May 6 I had a long phone conversation with Adam and without going into a lot of detail here, we got it all resolved. I understand now that some of the delay was due to delayed material shipments to HG so we decided to change the material to camo which he had in stock and he said he'd get the tarp out asap, which he did. I now have a new camo Winter Palace and skins. It's been a long wait but it's kind of like having surgery, you dread it, dread it, dread it, and then it's over and you say "well that wasn't so bad". The camo is 1.8 oz heavier on my scale but it looks real nice. He even threw in a couple freebies, which were not necessary, and I told him so, but they are greatly appreciated. One is small, very minimal weight, door tie backs so you can roll up the doors and tie when not deployed so you don't have to clip them to the other side. A nice addition if you're thinking about ordering one. Everything appears to be the small high quality as all my other HG products do, so once again I'm a "Happy Hanger". Thanks Adam and Jenny and the HG crew!!!!

I used to say to my kids, "Your lack of planning does not for me an emergency make." This thread reminded me of those days.

I had a reply to my initial inquiry in less than 24 hours but now a couple days have passed and I haven't heard back to solidify my custom order. Hoping the 2-3 weeks estimate is good, as I'm itching to get hiking and the weather here in the Pacific North West agrees!
