    Yeah it is proofed for fire water and mold. I have been looking around for a good quality 6 ounce. Its hard to find here in Australia. A waxed or oiled cotton would be excellent!

    You can found 5.5 oz. 80/20 cotton/nylon waxed cloth at Fairfield Textile.

    Thanks for the link mate, The 5.5 is a bit of marketing as the finished weight is just slightly under 8oz.


    I also favour a cotton/poly combo, espicaly for the brutal Aussie conditions!
