How far from the trailhead to the campsites/lake? I could bring some kayaks with me - I have two folders: a 10' Puffin and a 12' Puffin, and could take two hardshells on the roof rack if people want to paddle.

Sandy, You're added! The trailhead/campsites are about 30 feet from the lake. This camp is on the trail but you can get there via an unimproved road. the road is in good enough shape that any vehicle can make it with ease. Bring all the boats and hammocks you have we won't consider it show-boating.....

I think Islander is going to collect funds for this and I will create an online spreadsheet in Google Docs to track the funds. Anyone who donates can look at the budget and see where we are with respect to funding. I can't imagine there will be extra money remaining but if there is I assume it will be saved for the 2nd annual FL hang.

Hey Sam, I'll be in AZ next week - My kid is in a tourniment in Tucson. I plan on hiking a bit if we can get away for half a day.
