So I'm reading wandering my local CVS yesterday looking for sunburn spray, and came across the Lice treatment section - found a generic 5 oz. spray can of "Bedding Spray" that is 0.50% Permethrin, around $9. Anyone ever use this stuff (or decide against it for any reason)? Think I should give it a try?
$9 is way too expensive for 5 oz. What's that, like 2 shirts, maybe? Really, just get the concentrated stuff and dilute it. Soaking is better anyway.

I went to TSC today and bought a 8 oz bottle of consent roared permethrine, and you mix about 1.5 oz of the permethrine with 32oz of water, the 8oz bottle of consent rated formula cost 6.99
You can get a gallon of 0.5% from Bed, Bath & Beyond. See post #34 of this thread. I ordered last week and it came today.

Here is a pic of the stuff I found at Tractor Supply
I saw that in Tractor Supply but I was worried about potential smell because it contains petroleum distillates.
Does it have a smell to it?
Noticed this weekend that Dicks Sporting Goods was carrying the Sawyer spray bottle for $14.
I have some of the same stuff from Tractor Supply, but have not used it yet. Wondering what others experience is with this, does it leave any residue of the other distillates after it dries?

I have used the tractor supply concentrate for a couple of years. Yes it has a slight smell, but not bad. And I can tell you first hand it works well! While turkey hunting I watched a deer tick attempt to crawl up my pant leg only to make it shin hight and bailed off
