It was a wonder to behold last year on the SHT.

I used 2 Speer Snug fits on the bottom and a 0*f sleeping bag as a quilt on top.
Lots of loft but hard to stuff to backpack. Much easier using a Pulk

Bought the pod stock + 2 oz......................year later added the 20 oz of down...........was on sale for 850/$6.00 oz can't remember where I bought it..............Fronkey helped me w/sewing..........I would get the pod first, use and supplement, and then add the overstuff later......beauty of the stock pod is that you migrate the down to where you want it and supplement it to your temperature need.

Blazeaway regularly uses an Exped Dreamwalker along w/his...........

Definitely was not my first quilt.............started out w/pads and sleeping bags then a UQ,then a TQ. As my wife saw how much I used them, the enjoyment and friendships formed and the time spent in the woods w/my boys, it became easier for her to swallow. She really would like an 850 fill quilt for the bedroom.

I have lots of great gear and hate winter so it was a hard sell to start with. The kicker came when she saw the bill for for motorcycle maintenance, she really really said no. Lol! Pick your battles.

I made mine this summer. Out of a regular 30' bag. I slept in it last week in low 20's with a blanket under my hammock, I was warmer than a mama ckickens egg! haha! yeah! I'ts a great design and you don't have to worry about falling out of your hammock!

Stairguy. Just tell the wife you want a super rear Spanish adventure bike that no one knows how to work on. Lol. I rode one in England and just had to have one. Seemed like a good idea,,, at the time.
