That's great Triggerhpy! How's Holcomb during summer i.e., do you have to reserve a space months in advance? how many campers per site? (I see site fees are around $16 bucks per vehicle.)
If possible, I propose an outing at Holcomb in mid-late August!

Holcomb Valley Campground is located in the historic Holcomb Valley, just north of Big Bear Lake. In 1862, a grizzly hunter named Bill Holcomb discovered gold just north of Bear Valley in what is known today as Holcomb Valley. To reach the campground take Van Dusen Canyon for 4 miles then turn left. Adventure passes not valid in campgrounds
To see the location, go to the Home Page and click on Maps of the Area, then click on Full Color Hiking and Camping Map - this is a satellite map of the area showing the Hiking Trails and Campsites.
•Fee : $16 per day – 2nd Vehicle $5.00 per day.

Great idea, Sonic! Can't wait to see it fill up. This will be a very useful tool for hanging in our areas. I'll start filling in information as I come across it and spread the word to others.
An idea for the spreadsheet - maybe consider adding screen names of socal hangers so once a "hang" is organized we can get the word out. Just a thought.
I'll post a couple spots when I get home. For those that know local areas, There's Blue Ridge Campground, and lots of stealth camping around, on the PCT outside of Wrightwood. Start from Inspiration Point near Mountain High.
Another is John's Meadow, outside of Big Bear. It's about a 4 mile walk from the trailhead, no access by vehicle at all. It's an awesome place to hang.
