Simple indoor hang with decorative plates
I decided to hang my new camping hammock (a Byer easy traveller) indoors once I realised how comfortable it was. It went something like this....
1- Yay Hammock!!!
2- Uh-oh.... drywall damage! Bent hooks!
3- Hey, lets hide that with plumbing trim...
4- That looks better.
5- Lets try a wood wall plate made for coax instead. Ah, much better.
6- Hooks re-installed at an angle so the hammock pulls almost straight on them, no more bending.
Now after sleeping the hammock for a week, I tried the bed again last night. Terrible nights sleep, tired all day. Ordered a barbados cotton hammock for permanent use.
in it for the naps
