Pics of New Tarp
Just now getting into things. Purchased WBBB a few weeks ago with a BMJ tarp. Have 20* 3/4 Phoenix on order. Seam sealed the pull outs yesterday, today set up guy lines, so thought I would post pics. I'm using zing-it and shock cord for guy lines (couldn't fine just shock cord, so purchased smallest bunjis I could find and took hooks off. Worked great, as I was able to slip a small s biner through small loop on one end of the bunji and a brummel loop larks head on the other)I have a 50' continuous ridge line under the tarp. Using prusic tensioner for adjusting tarp location. For ridge line goes around tree and back to figure 9 biner that's held in place by five or six loops of the zing-it around the biner end instead of a knot. Length of the ridge line works well as I can put the figure 9 close to the tarp to create a "V" with the cord, allowing the hammock strap to go up inside the "V" without touching the cord. The stuff on the tarp in the wide view is remaining corn starch dust from yesterday to take the stickiness of the silicone seam seal away. https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-b...%2520biner.jpg
