Last wet season I did a bit of gear testing during one of our tropical storms.
Tried to post some video of the gear test on the forum but had no luck uploading it, here are a few photos instead.
Tarp is a Tom Claytor for diamond, hammock is a wilderness logics lite owl.
I very rarely have to use tarps as we have a very defined dry season here and do most of my camping at that time.
However the whole rig performed remarkably well during some strong wind and heavy rain I did stay dry even though the pitch of my tarp is not perfect.
