    Might want to change the angle of the stake- looks like any tension on the rope will pull it right up...

    yes bigtime. Also from my experience you need a stake at least 1.25 feet long and on a 20+ degree angle. The stake should be AT LEAST 1 support length away from the base of the support (this produces a 45 degree angle or better). 2x the height is GREAT. longer than that is getting extreme but is better still (and a tripping hazard)

    I have recently been using rebar stakes which work great but are massive heavy bigtime... great for car camping in a field though

    I weld a large washer a few inches from the top of the rebar to help prevent the beaner from slipping off and to help remove the stake when it is an issue.
