Description for Whoopie Sling Toggled Suspension

Whoopie sling on the right passes through the hammock's end channel; bowline on a bight keeps the fixed loop from from cinching the channel too tightly. The adjustable loop raises / lowers hammock end, while keeping the ridge line level.

what are you guys making your toggles out of?
i bet you could use a small round welded ring as a toggle as well. don't know if that would be any lighter or not. -

Geez, sorry I missed this way back when... never thought to look for comments on the picture. Guess you know now that it was aluminum rod.
