With the hammock body attached inline with the spreader bars, your center of gravity is high and your prone to flipping. The Bridge hammock has the hammock body suspended lower than the spreader bar, thus lowering your center of gravity and making it more stable and less prone to flipping. Sorry for the long explaination.
