Ah... notice the notch in the windscreen? If you turn it over it fits nicely over the fuel supply line, and allows air to enter so the stove can breathe. When using a frying pan that is equal to or larger than the diameter of the windscreen, scallop the edges so the pan does not smother the flame. This is a great stove, I've had mine for over 20 years. (I have preferred the MSR Whisperlite for the last 10 yrs though. Both get used on some outings). Nice pics.
