Most definitely the Amsteel Blue. That's what is in this picture. I got it in red from West Marine. I'm definitely a sucker for red. But in terms of strength and weight, I don't think I'll ever use another rope. -

550 is cheap and fairly lightweight, but I recommend the Amstel line. I used 550 for a long time, but once you have used Amstel once, you will most likely never use 550 again. It much stronger, smaller, and lighter. -

Sweet. 550 chord is what you want to replace this with eventually. The mil spec stuff is amazing!
