    Looks like your tree strap is about at its limit. I'm using mule tape with becket hitch also- a little bit of a pain to adjust but I'm getting a better eye for it. May try larks heading the CL to the MT with a slippery half hitch stopper one of phantom grapplers ideas. Hang low fall less and enjoy...
